It’s been a crazy semester for the Ohio Union Activities Board – but it sure did fly by. It’s hard to believe that winter break is almost here. With finals quickly approaching, let’s take a walk down memory lane with some of our favorite moments from our Autumn events.

Top 5 Moments this Fall with OUAB

5. Nev Schulman taking selfies with us – The creator of Catfish came to Ohio State to talk about his life and all of the crazy events that led to the creation of Catfish. Afterwards he stayed to take selfies with some audience members.

4. When thousands of Buckeyes started the school year right with The Band Perry – Remember that time we built a stage in the parking lot at the Shoe? So do we.

3. That time we taught Josh Radnor how to use the panoramic feature on his iPhone – Josh visited OSU to talk about his experiences in acting as well as watch the Season 9 premiere of How I Met Your Mother with us. During his talk, he wanted to take a picture of the audience, and ended up asking a student in the crowd to help him figure out how to use the panorama setting. This was the result:

2. When hundreds of students shared their messages at “Dear World” – students were able to write messages on their bodies and be photographed by Dear World photographer Robert X. Fogarty. The messages ranged from funny to inspiring, and this event was a powerful experience for everyone.

1. Endless laughs at Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood: Two Man Group. Colin and Brad brought their amazing improv skills to OSU this fall. Their skits included popular fan favorites from the show to some crazy stunts with mouse traps. The duo had the audience laughing from the moment they set foot on the stage.

With a great fall semester coming to a close, we’re already prepping to make next semester even better.
