An Unspecified Number of Reasons to Attend This Week’s FFF

This week, Flicks for Free presents Nerve starring Emma Roberts and Dave Franco. Below you’ll find very convincing material to convince you to attend FFF.

Kidding (kind of).

From the directors of Paranormal Activity 3 and 4, this thriller is aimed at the younger generation, as the main characters hurdle though dares presented by an online game. The challenges become more and more dangerous throughout the movie, making every second more exciting than the last.

If you enjoyed Eagle Eye or Allegiant, you’ll probably love this movie as well. Both raise the interesting and relevant question of our digital era’s impact on our livelihood. Will technology eventually take over? Are young people actually disadvantaged by smartphones in the long run? Could Dave Franco be any hotter?

One critic described this film as bringing The Hunger Games to our fingertips, and if that isn’t creepy and intriguing at the same time, I don’t know what is. If you’re still not convinced, know that Nerve embodies more than intellectual hypotheticals and human v human competitions – it’s also a spin on the classic teenage drama.

There’s something here for everyone, it’s fun to watch, and it gets you thinking about what could be. So come out and hang with me as I watch this movie and gasp about 100 times.
